Responsibilities of a Residential Night Support Worker:

-          Provide support for the children and young people in the home and to promote their independence and wellbeing

-          To be able to deal with challenging behaviours when needed

-          Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare

-          Maintain a safe environment for young people

-          Engage, communicate, and listen to the children and their needs

-          Work pro-actively

-          Provide essential care and nurturing to the children

-          Maintain professional boundaries

-          Remain person centred always
