Children’s Waking Night Support Worker – Make a Difference Through the Night
£14–£16 per hour | Weekly Pay

Are you a calm, reliable, and compassionate individual looking to make a real difference? We’re recruiting Children’s Waking Night Support Workers to support young people with EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) and challenging behaviour within residential settings.
This is a key role where you’ll help provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment overnight. You’ll be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of young people, completing regular checks, maintaining a peaceful setting, and responding appropriately to any situations that arise during the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of young people throughout the night
- Conducting regular checks and maintaining accurate records
- Managing and responding to challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
- Supporting with night-time routines and any waking needs
- Working as part of a supportive care team
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience working with children and young people in the UK
- Full UK driving licence – essential
- A patient, resilient, and dependable approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
An Enhanced DBS check is required (we can arrange this for you). We also accept a DBS registered on the Update Service.
